Michelin X-Ice Snow+ has been added to Tirelab as the successor to Michelin X-Ice Snow and X-Ice Snow SUV.
The launch alert highlights 40 percent higher mileage compared with the previous generation, improved winter properties and a broad range of 165 sizes from 15 to 23 inches. European availability was stated from May 2026.
The tyre is aimed at a wide set of vehicles including crossovers, SUVs and saloons, regardless of drivetrain type. It is therefore better understood as a broad winter range update than as a narrow performance niche model.
On Tirelab, X-Ice Snow+ has been added as a premium winter tyre with early rivals such as Continental VikingContact 8, Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5, Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 3 and Bridgestone Blizzak Ice. Independent winter tests will be needed to validate the mileage and winter-grip balance.
